pizzachopper Posted August 8, 2009 Author Report Posted August 8, 2009 for 1 adult and 2 teenage kids.Still showing smoke free for $159. I also found Hampton Inn on 35th St MTW with free breakfast for $170. Is that a good hotel and good price?
thereuare Posted August 8, 2009 Report Posted August 8, 2009 Still showing smoke free for $159.My point is that in your first post there was no mention of Smoke Free icons... so each property shows:Restaurant, Fitenss, Smoke Free, Internet, Business? If so, the 4* is a match for the Sheraton New York while the 3.5* is a match for the Sheraton Manhattan.Where you are finding that Hampton Inn rate, as the Hampton Inn website is showing sold-out for these nites. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. pizzachopper Posted August 8, 2009 Author Report Posted August 8, 2009 Sorry about not mentioning smoke free in my original post. I found Hampton Inn through Quickbook. Also found red roof inn MTW for $130/nite (2 db) by calling hotel directly and have booked it there. I can cancel if something better comes up. I have not yet the reviews for this. What do you think? If I go through HOTWIRE for Sheraton, I don't know if triple occupancy would be a problem or can one change the room type after one gets a hotel through HOTWIRE?
thereuare Posted August 8, 2009 Report Posted August 8, 2009 The HOTWIRE searches above were searched for using 1adult/2children so that would assure sleeping accomodations for everyone you included in the search.Note that the Hampton Inn rate thru QB is for 2 doubles, which can be a little tight for the two people in that bed... however, the reviews for the Hampton Inn are very good.If that room is cancellable why not book that as a back-up and use that as your "price to beat" in the next few days.
