A quick much needed one night romantic get-away!!!

I first bid $33 and got a counter to add $9. Than, tried, $35, $36, $37 .... and hit at $38. I was amazed to win this over other zone hotels.

Reviews are excellent ... this hotel offers a free hot breakfast buffet?!?

Actually, there are two usable rebids (however both zones offer 1*, 2*, resort)... North Tucson, La Paloma

I bid the resort zones up to $45, than....

3* east $33

3* east/north $35

3* east/La Paloma $36

2.5* airport 2.5* $25

2.5* airport/east 2.5* $27

2.5* airport/La Paloma/east $30

3* central $30

3* airport/north $35

3* east/La Paloma/north $37

3* east/La Paloma/north/airport $38

So this bid

could have got you a 3* in the North or am I'm missing something here???

I have noticed though that the Airport zone has only 2.5, 2 and 1*'s so this is the second free bid.

I've done some research and the 2.5* Residence Inn looks a favourite as it has

I just checked, no 3* in north zone .. and the airport is a true rebid with no 3*...

I could have been upgraded to a resort which would have been great however, I already tested the waters with bids up to $45 my limit.

I have just found out something VERY interesting.

PL UK shows North Tucson to have Resort, 4, 3, 2, 1, *'s

PL USA shows North Tucson with only resort, 2, 1 *'s

There is also a difference with La Paloma. PL.com shows Resort only, whilst PL.Uk shows Resort and 4*

Wierd or what??

I didn't think thesqueegeekid could be wrong as he is one of the experts in PL bidding :)

Any comments?
