I hope I'm doing this right.

I need help to identify this hotel that i found at hotwire.

*4 stars.

1 person staying for: 14/12-21/12 (december) 2009.

Rate: 74 pr night.

Ameninites: resort, near beach, smokefree rooms, fitness center, pool(s), resturants, business center, high-speed internet access, golf nearby.

I just noticed tho, that when I press the "area map and details" it says :

"Stroll the 1920s district, play golf at the Diplomat or bet on horse and dog racing"

Would it say play golf at the diplomat if the hotel itself was a diplomat?

Rate currently 120 dollars pr night - but I'm watching to see if the price will drop a bit more before I book.

I'm only looking at HOTWIRE, and I'm worried that if I end up booking a resort hotel, I might have to pay more than I thought when I pay directly.

If the board can try to get you a positive ID on the hotel you're looking at can you check this before you book it.

I'm still looking at the hotel i posted in the florida section, still waiting for the price to drop. And its gone from 120 to 112 the other day. But its not really that important to me to get that hotel, so I'm reservering a hotel downtown just to be safe. If the hotel is removed from HOTWIRE, then ok. If it goes even more down in price the next month, I want to book it - but due to this Resort thing, I'm not so sure anymore :)

I'm pretty sure the hotel is the Westin Beach Resort.

Westin Beach Resort doesn't charge any resort fee. Just ask for help, i know this are very well.

Thank you for replying. I contacted the hotel via e-mail before reading this, and they also confirmed that they had no resort fee. So now I will just keep monitoring the price and hope that it will drop to a price I can accept.

I booked it for 7 days, 14-21 december, I waited a month - the price ranging from 126 dollars pr night to 112 dollars.

Today its was 102 and since I promised myself that if it got to a 100 dollars, I would book it. SO - I booked it.

Its the Westin Beach Resort :)

Soooooooo happy! About 800 dollars for 7 nights must be a awesome deal for a 4 star hotel near the beach in the high season! :o

It might even go lower, but I'm happy.
