PatMcNJ Posted August 5, 2009 Report Posted August 5, 2009 Hi, I am trying to book a 4 * room in the Millenium Loop area. It does not look good! I started at $89, went all the way up to $141 (adding areas one by one that have no 4* hotels). Any suggestions? I guess it is bad because it is Columbus Day weekend.I suppose I may have to try again in a few days, adding 3 1/2 star hotels. Thanks! And I did try using the link from this website.
AaronJB Posted August 5, 2009 Report Posted August 5, 2009 Thank you for using the site's PRICELINE link to start your bidding.Unfortunately, the major issue with these dates is that the Marathon is occurring on this weekend. What would be your max budget per night for hotel?
PatMcNJ Posted August 5, 2009 Author Report Posted August 5, 2009 What would be your max budget per night for hotel?I should have thought of the Marathon! We are coming in to help with a charity that is involved with that Marathon. I went up to $169. I think I can do better on Expedia or HOTWIRE. Expedia had some discounted rooms if you booked 4 nights, like we have now. I also may switch flights and leave on Sunday, because the rooms are so high. I hope to book something that is refundable, and keep trying on Priceline. Thanks for your help on this board!
AaronJB Posted August 5, 2009 Report Posted August 5, 2009 Are you driving in or flying in? There are some great deals if you don't mind staying in the burbs (which are really quite nice) and taking the train in.
