Rogos race Posted August 3, 2009 Report Posted August 3, 2009 Got a room at Stabridge Suites (2 1/2 stars) for $46 ($59.68 after taxes) on the first try. Date is for Friday 8/21/09. Tried priceline at 3 stars the night before at $45 and was rejected. I used the PRICELINE link on the better bidding site to book the room. Simple process and hope it helps to keep this site up and running as I spent hours searching the choices (before finding this site) last night. We also liked the Staybridge suite in Palmdale (think it was rated a 3 star though) booked through priceline for $60 (before I knew about this site) and enjoyed a very pleasant stay. Great comp breakfast!!! (Many 3 stars charge additional money for their breakfast) We had to bring the air matress for our kids (ages 10-11) as they only had a queen size bed. However, they also told me that we could use their air mattress for no charge. I'm reading that this Staybridge has pull out couches so hopeefully will not have to go that route this time. I'm also assuming that the Staybridge in Sacramento will have the breakfast too based on the previous posts. Even if they don't it's a good deal. Motel 6 wanted $75.00 before tax... Yikes!
thereuare Posted August 4, 2009 Report Posted August 4, 2009 Congratualtions on your success!Glad to see you're happy with the results and this will work well for your needs. Certainly better than the Motel 6... and at a fraction of the price! :)Complimentary Breakfast is a chain-wide feature of all Staybridge Suites so you should have an included breakfast here as well.Thank you for sharing your win with the board and using our PRICELINE link to begin your bidding.Enjoy your stay. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
