1st bid Downtown 4* $75 rejected. Added 4* Chula Vista/Mexican border and upped to $90 (there are no 4*'s). Bid accepted. I usually use HOTWIRE because I can pin the hotel better, but this will work. A little far from the ballpark, but I am sure the property is nice (crossing my fingers for Omni). It is $199 on Expedia, so great deal :)

This hotel tried to boot me because they were "oversold." I travel ALOT, and this is the first time it happened. I was nice--but said NO WAY as they are constructing a bridge to get there over the railroad tracks and it was a freaking NIGHTMARE to get there! Plus, becuase of the construction, you have to walk A LONG WAY around to get to will call at the ballpark! Pedicabs cannot even go close. This turned out to be a disaster :) Until the bridge gets done, this place SUCKS.
