trinigirlmd Posted August 3, 2009 Report Posted August 3, 2009 My husband and I are heading to DC for a long weekend 9/5 - 9/7/09. We're looking for an affordable $85 or less per night including tax in central DC (no suburbs) within a reasonable walking distance (mile or less) of a metro station. We live in the Maryland suburbs but don't want to ride into the city each day, so we decided to find a downtown dc hotel.I checked Hotwire and I'm getting a 3.5-star hotel in Dupont Circle - Embassy Row for $73 per night. Hotel has fitness center, restaurant and internet. Any ideas on what it could be?Any tips on other hotels that meet our needs? Safe area, clean room and hotel, close proximity to metro, with parking (although the car will be parked for our entire stay). Thanks much.
thereuare Posted August 5, 2009 Report Posted August 5, 2009 This property has not yet been identified, and as these amenities are common at the majority fo 3.5* properties in this area, i don't think we'll be able to gain too much insight into this one.If you're able to expand your budget to ~$100 a lot more possibilities come into range. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Let us knwo what you decide to do for this stay or if we can be of further help.
