Although it is a good deal, I am still not very happy with this transaction. I know Priceline thinks I did, and I am sure many of you here are sure I did, but I was charged $10 for insurance that I know I did not select. I remember making sure the little box was not checked. I don't know how I could have done it! It's not refundable. I have no need for it. I knew not to check it. But I got it. Customer service would do nothing and sent me to "Investor Relations" to file a complaint. So I did, and in my online form I sent them, I explained what happened, only to send it in with no details of booking, so I know I will never get a response. :-( I should resend it but I feel so deflated right now.

What bothers me most is that there was a Hotwire hotel, same area, for $68. which I know seems higher, but I just found out that Hilton charges $10/day for parking! I knew hotels in San Antonio charged for parking, but I thought they were all by the Riverwalk. So total for each room is now $70. Hotwire is so much better to me. Its just that they only had (1) 3* hotel, at around $65. So I figured I would try Priceline, and I guess I caught caut up in the bidding, i don't know.

I made a poor decision.

Sorry you are disappointed with the purchase. In terms of parking, more and more hotels are charging for it these days. As for the insurance, sorry to hear about that - there was another user yesterday who reported the same thing.

Hopefully the stay will turn out better than expected, and sorry again to hear about the disappointing bid.
