Priceline Hotel: Resort Palm Springs (Rancho Mirage) Hyatt Champion

Any thoughts on what I would have to bid for a resort in Rancho Mirage, Indian Wells, Palm Desert for 4 nights (Sat-Wed) at the end of February. Prices from hotel websites are running $233- $300 per night. Do you know if I bid for that area would they would bump me to a Palm Springs 4* or resort (trying to avoid). Also, would my chances be better for mid-March? I thought not because of spring break, but not sure. Thanks for any insight.

Please provide the actual date(s) of your stay, as rates can differ substantially from nite-to-nite at the 'end of February'.

I've looked at Feb. 26-March 2. I've also looked at March 12-16. Prices are exactly the same for both times on the resort websites. My first choice would be Feb. 26-March 2.

So that i have an idea of a back-up and what we're trying to beat... how would something like the Westin @ $175/nite work? :)

Do you have a better/alternate deal in mind?

Received a winning bid on Priceline for Hyatt Grand Champion Resort at $115/night for 4 nights beginning Feb 26.

This actually looks like it is in the Rancho Mirage-Indian Wells-Palm Desert zone, correct?

Was that your first bid in the zone? Is this a Resort rated property according to Priceline?

Yes, this is listed in the Rancho Mirage-Indian Wells- Palm Desert area and yes, it is rated as a resort (by Priceline).
