Hi guys, I'm new to this and I've been reading around the site, but I'm still confused about how the whole bidding process works.

I'm looking to get a 4 star hotel in Boston -- really any area *in* Boston would be fine.

All the hotels are pretty pricey for the dates I want to visit - I'm flexible anytime late September through mid October.

I'm just unsure what to start my bid off at I guess.

Sorry if this is a very random post, I've just never done this before so I'd love any advice.

Thanks!!

Welcome to the site. :)

We really need confirmed dates to try and begin to help, as rates and availability can vary significantly from day-to-day.

What would be your budget per night?

Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links when you are ready to book.

Thanks Aaron!

Ideally I'd like to get accommodations for Sep 25-27, October 2-4, or October 9-11

I'd love to be able to keep it 150 ( per night) or under, but I'm not sure that's possible for a 4 star :)

Everyone's dfinition of "in Boston" may be different... for example, is Cambridge (as defined by PRICELINE's map boundaries) "in" boston?

Please let us know exactly which zone(s) you're willing to accept, by PRICELINE name, and we'll suggest a strategy for you to follow. Also, is $150 your maximum bid amount or 'all-in' price? (if the latter, what is your maximum bid price)
