Priceline Hotel: Downtown Pittsburgh

I was looking at the star ratings on downtown Pittsburgh hotels and noticed there isn't any 1 - 2.5 star hotels there. I could get another bid by changing to those star ratings. Does anyone know if that is still correct? Also, I read that if you book 1 night on priceline and you like what you get you can add more for the same price. Is that true?

The lists are only showing what has been reported to the board. There may be hotels at those star ratings that have not yet been reported to the board.

The "extend your stay" option is not available at all hotels. While in many instances the "extend your stay" option is accepted at the same price, there are times when it is not accepted (hotel doesn't have inventory) or is offered at a higher price than initially paid.

I don't think I'd recommend trying for a 1* in downtown Pittsburgh, if 1* options are actually available.

As per the comments at the top of the Priceline Hotel List you should NOT use the hotel lists to determine your re-bid zones... the proper, and only, way to determine your re-bid zones is explained here: Priceline Re-Bidding Explained

Have you tried bidding yet? If so, what star level and bid amounts did you have that failed? What are the dates of your stay? What is your maximum budget? What star levels youa re trying for?
