Sutter
I notice that on this site the Hotwire hotels in the Maryland suburbs around Washington, DC are listed under Washington, DC, but those for Priceline are listed only under Maryland, and then Silver Spring and College Park are grouped together, while they are listed separately on the Priceline site. Just wondring why. At this point we are leaning towards using Hotwire (linking from this site, of course), since the Silver Spring area as defined on Pricelne encompasses some areas (e.g., upper Silver Spring, far from Metro station areas) we don't want to consider. Thanks. Link to comment
thereuare
The zones and groupings have changed somewhat recently, but we're working on a project at the moment which is easier for us to complete if we use the old groupings, so we'll stick with those until our project is complete, at which point we will bring region 'current'.I noticed that your date range above includes the nite of your recent Hotwire BWI Airport post... if the dates of this leg of your stay have changed please update the thread accordingly. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board for your purchases and searches. Sutter
We went with the 3-star in Silver Spring, for $89 plus tax/fees. It was the Crowne Plaza. So-so hotel but it suited our purposes and location was what we wanted. Link to comment
