Very disappointed, I thought this was the Hampton Inn Madison Heights, but I got this instead:

Sorry to hear this. By the last report the board got is the Hampton Inn listed with Complimentary Breakfast. So feel free to ask for a confirmation on any of your upcoming stay. HOTWIRE can be tricky in some cases.

Hotwire is indeed very tricky. I stayed at this hotel about 5 years ago and at that time it required much needed renovations. There's a reason Hilton got rid of this hotel. I further researched this property and Priceline rated it a 2.5*.

I called Hotwire and advised them that when I booked this reservation no pool or restaurant icons were listed as amenities and on Ramada's website it clearly shows they have a pool and a restaurant. By not showing these icons, Hotwire is deceiving it's customers. A Hotwire supervisor said that 'they are able to switch icons, list different amenities, and not required to list all amenities (based on their terms and agreement) in order to keep the hotel's anonymity'. They also informed me that they have since added the pool icon to the amenities.
