Great Resource!!!) and I accidentally clicked Bellevue as one of my zones when trying to re-bid using the Bothell zone. I called them and they confirmed that I messed up. I really don't want to stay all the way in Bellevue and would pay a $25 dollar change fee and rebook thru them. Any advice on how to get this? Via email or Phone?
yellowdog Posted July 28, 2009 Report Posted July 28, 2009 Welcome to BetterBidding!Thank you for sharing your win with the board and using our PRICELINE link to begin your bidding :) I'm sorry to hear this. I can't say if phone is better than mail. I did a misstake once and i mailed them. Looks like most people that post here mail PRICELINE when they have any trouble. Please keep the board updated in this matter.Yellowdog.

AaronJB Posted July 28, 2009 Report Posted July 28, 2009 I would call and try to talk to someone on the phone rather than emailing them (although sorry to hear that that didn't work out.)
ncsustash Posted July 29, 2009 Author Report Posted July 29, 2009 Yeah, I tried that to start with. They sent me a copy of the contract where it was clear that I messed up. Should I call the hotel and tell them that I am not coming and see if I will get a refund that way?
AaronJB Posted July 29, 2009 Report Posted July 29, 2009 Worth a try, but the likely answer from the hotel will be no.
ncsustash Posted August 5, 2009 Author Report Posted August 5, 2009 I sent priceline a reply email after I booked my new room in the correct location.Thank you for your information. I have already booked another roomunder reservation XXXX(new) based on clicking the correct zones.I appreciate any kind of slack that you give me on reservationXXX(old) as I will not be using the room as it is outside of theareas that I was looking for. As I mentioned before I mistakenlyclicked the wrong zone (Bellevue instead of Bothell) and did not catchit on the reservation confirmation screen.I would appreciate you canceling XXXX(old) reservation as I willnot be using it.They replied to call them at 1800.....When I called them they canceled this one with no cancellation fee. I just got a really nice guy on the phone (based in the us...not abroad call center)
AaronJB Posted August 6, 2009 Report Posted August 6, 2009 Glad to hear that you were able to get this settled and PRICELINE was able to work with you. Which hotel did you get with the new booking?
