dol3 Posted July 28, 2009 Report Posted July 28, 2009 Just wondering if anyone has any info on this listing for NYC midtown east. I'm getting a price of $144. Any ideas on where this is?

AaronJB Posted July 28, 2009 Report Posted July 28, 2009 What are the amenity icons showing with this HOTWIRE listing?
dol3 Posted July 28, 2009 Author Report Posted July 28, 2009 Amenities were Condo, Suite, Studio, Fully equipped kitchen, A/C, 24 hr front desk, laundry, hi-speed access
AaronJB Posted July 28, 2009 Report Posted July 28, 2009 This listing has not yet been reported to the board/ID'd. I wouldn't recommend it - a 2* condo in NYC can be VERY iffy. My *guess* would be Sutton Suites, but that would be a just a *guess.* Additionally, one of the reviews for Sutton Suites on tripadvisor mentions that they have it on HOTWIRE and it was a 2* condo. While that's not a confirmation that this listing is that, it would provide at least another clue that it may be the Sutton.Any reason why this listing is of interest? You could probably get a 3* (at least) for $144 or less on PRICELINE if there are 2 people in your party. Please use the site's PRICELINE or HOTWIRE links to start your purchase.
dol3 Posted July 28, 2009 Author Report Posted July 28, 2009 Thanks for all the expertise. :) I kinda figured that the place would be iffy. So far, I was able to book a most of the night at The Hotel at Times Square (#68 hotel on trip advisor) for $141 a night (2 double beds) directly through the hotel. Now, I'll probably splurge at little on the last night (8/14) through hotwire on a fancier hotel. I saw what looks like the double tree suites for a good price on that date. Thanks again.I'll make sure and go through the HOTWIRE link I've seen on here for that hotel. :)
AaronJB Posted July 28, 2009 Report Posted July 28, 2009 You could probably get a hotel for cheaper via PRICELINE for 8/11-14. Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE link for the final night. Let us know the decision regarding the Doubletree, and if you would like suggestions for PRICELINE for 8/11-14
dol3 Posted July 28, 2009 Author Report Posted July 28, 2009 I'd go the PRICELINE route, but I need 2 beds and that isn't guaranteed through PRICELINE. Thanks again
