cbrownjp Posted July 27, 2009 Report Posted July 27, 2009 Hi, was just wondering if anyone has tried booking any 4/5 star hotels on the strip in Vegas over that weekend (Th-Sun nts) and what kind of success they had. Thank you for any help you can provide.
AaronJB Posted July 27, 2009 Report Posted July 27, 2009 Please first follow-up with what you decided to do for this Priceline Atlanta thread (post in that thread, not here), then reply to this thread and we will help with the question above. Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links when you are ready to book.
cbrownjp Posted July 28, 2009 Author Report Posted July 28, 2009 Thanks Aaron, I have done as requested... thank you and I'll be sure to do the same here.btw, I am most interested in staying at the Hard Rock and would welcome any ideas as far as getting the best deal there outside of HOTWIRE and PRICELINE... I'm open to other hotels, but this is my 1st choice... thanks again.
thereuare Posted July 29, 2009 Report Posted July 29, 2009 Is this for 9/3-9/6?If you're main interest is the Hard Rock why are you looking for information regarding hotels on on Strip (which the Hard Rock is not)What is the best rate you're able to currently find at the Hard Rock? Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. cbrownjp Posted July 29, 2009 Author Report Posted July 29, 2009 Sorry about the confusion... the original plan was on the strip and then one of the parties decided they really wanted Hard Rock, which I didn't realize was that far off the strip, and after reading some reviews, it sounds like they have kind of let the place go a little bit and probrobly not worth the $200/nt average which is the best rate I have found. Mostly just interested in Rehab there so we'll probrobly stay elsewhere and cab it there when we want to go.So, I guess its back to "The Strip" hotels. Just wanting something rated as 4 star or above by priceline/hotwire standards I'm thinking. MGM, Mandalay Bay, Luxor, etc. We are 3 30ish couples looking for a younger aimed place with nice pool area/nightlife, etc. Ideally would like to find something that would average about $100/nt for 9/3-9/6. Is that something that would be reasonable to get do you think? Would I have much luck calling a place directly and getting a better deal cause I am booking 3 rooms for 4 nts each?Anyway, thanks for the help and sorry I didn't have everything straight originally.
thereuare Posted July 30, 2009 Report Posted July 30, 2009 The 'problem' is that you're looking to be on the strip and PRICELINE's Strip zone includes properties that are slightly off the strip... most notaby the Westin and the Trump (note: Trump has no casino). Would these be acceptable properties? If not, you'll need to stick with HOTWIRE where i belive i see Planet Hollywood for $119/nite, if that is of any interest.Let us know your thoughts regarding the above and we'll take it from there. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.
