mmp
Yes, this is definitely a last minute reservation! Been bidding for a 4* in Loop or NMA for past couple days; used rebid strategy to the max but starting at $65, going to $90 (using that low or a rate based on anothers win of $60 at the Hyatt about the same days, but they had multi-nites so maybe that's the difference?).Anyway, can bid once more tomorrow a.m.; any advice on a rebid strategy if I'm willing to stay at a 3* or above? Looking to keep it around $100 if possible. Looks like I have two rebid zones at 3* level?I am using your PRICELINE link to start my bid...Thanks! Link to comment
thereuare
If things don't change by the morning it appears that rates are higher than you're willing to bid, but with your TWO re-bid zones you can try as follows:Select 3* Loop...Bid $65, if rejected add re-bid zone1...Bid $70, if rejected close browser and use our link to re-access PRICELINESelect 3* Loop and re-bid zone2...Bid $75, if rejected add re-bid zone1...Bid $80, if rejected close browser and use our link to re-access PRICELINESelect 3* NMA...Bid $65, if rejected add re-bid zone1...Bid $70, if rejected close browser and use our link to re-access PRICELINESelect 3* NMA and re-bid zone2...Bid $75, if rejected add re-bid zone1...Bid $80, if rejected close browser and use our link to re-access PRICELINESelect 3* Loop and NMA...Bid $85, if rejected add re-bid zone1...Bid $90, if rejected close browser and use our link to re-access PRICELINESelect 3* Loop and NMA and re-bid zone2...Bid $95, if rejected add re-bid zone1...Bid $100Any quesitons feel free to ask.Thank you for using our PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your bidding.Good luck and let us know how it goes. mmp
Thank you so much for your quick response and all of the bidding strategy; I followed it comletely but yes, you were right, I was not successful. I see a room on Travelocity for $109 with free parking (Chicago South Loop Hotel) but am a little concerned about the neighborhood. Since we are driving, we may swing by there and see if we'll feel comfortable there. Thanks again! Link to comment
AaronJB
I would really (really) not recommend staying there - that's really too far South, in the middle of nowhere. Link to comment
