sanders0906 Posted July 22, 2009 Report Posted July 22, 2009 Had no luck over a week span of getting a 4* in times square or MTE for $140. Went to Priceline's site and saw they were advertising a 3.5* in MTE for $112. Went in and offered that for area and was hoping for anything but Tudor - but of course it was Tudor. I'm hoping it is nicer than I'm expecting and have read that it might have been renovated recently. But to pay $112 nightly in NYC - I'll take it.

thereuare Posted July 23, 2009 Report Posted July 23, 2009 Welcome to BetterBidding!I stayed here about 2 years ago... rooms was clean, decent sized for NYC, and comfortable beds. Although i didn't have any problem as we were only there for a nite and i'm local to the area, they are probably lacking in some service amenities... i didnt' see a conceirge, the front desk more like a large cubby hole than a welcoming lobby area, etc. If you're relying on the hotel styaff to guide you in what to see and do around NYC then this property may fall short, but as far as providing a clean and comfortable place to sleep at the end of the day, should serve your needs well. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Enjoy your stay.
