tbbunches Posted July 22, 2009 Report Posted July 22, 2009 Started out at 3.5* and $35; rejected. Added Winter Park (only 2* and down) and up price to $38; rejected. Added Kississimee (2.5 star and lower available), dropped to 3* and went at $41; rejected. As a last resort (since I need the rooms tomorrow I added Sand Lake (another with only 2*) and increased price to $45. Was accepted - two rooms, two nights for a total of $212.94. Was a little skeptical at first - seems to be a little lesser quality hotels show up at a star level in Orlando compared to other parts of the country (ie 3* in Orlando would be 2 to 2.5* at other places) but when I checked recent reviews for this property most were very positive. Have to admit we were hoping for Residence Inn or Homewood Suites. Used BB PRICELINE links.
