yellowdog Posted July 20, 2009 Report Posted July 20, 2009 hollywd901There is nothing that guarante that you will get 2 beds. How big is your party?Yellowdog.
thereuare Posted July 21, 2009 Report Posted July 21, 2009 PRICELINE only guarantees double occupancy, not two beds, so if two beds is a must have (vs. a want) then you're not going to be able to use PRICELINE for this stay.HOTWIRE is an option as they'll allow you to search for up to quad occupancy and guarantees sleeping accomodations for everyone you include in your search, so searching for triple occupancy will ensure separate beds (although the second 'bed' could be a pullout sofabed, follaway, etc). However, searching for 2adults/1child there is nothing in Manattan within your price range. What will you do if you're unable to find anything with 2 beds within your $110 limit? (which i think is going to be tough)Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Let us know your thoughts and how you'd like to proceed and we'll advise accordingly. thereuare Posted July 21, 2009 Report Posted July 21, 2009 I'm doubtful either of the above will be successful, but you can start as follows:At the 4* level you have FIVE re-bid zones, at the 3.5* level you have THREE re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.Select 4* and all acceptable zones...Bid $95, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $100, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $103, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $105, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $108, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $110If rejected close browser and use our link to re-access PRICELINESelect 3.5* and all acceptable zones...Bid $95, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $100, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $105, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $110Any questions feel free to ask. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Good luck and let us know how it goes.
