I bid through the betterbidding PRICELINE link :)

I started at $70 for Kensington 4 * (which I had tried for November 2009 earlier) and received a counterbid for $95. Tried to add areas Mayfair etc.. and increase in $ 5 increments. I had to raise it to $85 to get acceptance. I thought it would be the Copthorne Tara (where I have stayed earlier and I liked it..)

Still a good value, although you can book it on the website for

I recently stayed in this hotel off a PRICELINE win and it is really nice! I have stayed in the Copthorne Tara a few times too: the Nh makes the Copthorne seem like a hostel. I think you'll enjoy your stay. The rooms on the backside overlook a very nice quiet garden which made us feel almost like we were not in a city at all.

Nice to hear..

I did like the Copthorne Tara, but it could have been that I was lucky as I got a large room with almost American sized beds.
