I'm very happy with the deal! Its the hotel that i expected :) ... But can someone please tell me why this time is so expensive in NYC? Is there something special i have to know? :) Hope i can catch a ticket for my first NBA game (Nets or better Knicks)...

(too late, cant edit my last post)

I found out that at the weekend (Sunday, Nov. 1) the "New York City Marathon" will take place in town - what a nice coincidence (for me) and maybe a small explanation for the pricy hotel prices?!

YES!!! im actually running in it and am looking for a deal...i ve never been to nyc and this will be my first marathon...have you stayed in this hotel before? i think im going to look into it. everything in nyc is way too expensive and i figure it wouldnt be too bad to get there from jersey.

cw99,

I'm very familiar with this area... it is easy enough to get to the city from, but the reason i hadn't mentioned it in your current Hotwire New York City thread is because you lose much of the 'vibe' and convenience of staying directly in the city, which is one of the things that makes the city so great.

So while you could make this property work out for your needs, you will lose much of the 'look and feel' of NYC by commuting into the city rather than being directly in it.

To continue this discussion for this property please use your current New York City Hotel thread.
