mapsgl Posted October 28, 2004 Report Posted October 28, 2004 I had been bidding on this property for the past two weeks and was rejected on bids as high as $70! Used the full allocation of free bids every 72hrs.I need this particular hotel - no subsitute. FFN and an event at the property so I was willing to go high.Rebid this time in a panic... so I started at $60. Accepted on first bid.Maps

flyme2 Posted October 29, 2004 Report Posted October 29, 2004 Boy, were you lucky! For over a month this past summer, I bid and re-bid, trying to get that property - without any success. Hope you get your FFN stay credit. :)
mapsgl Posted October 30, 2004 Author Report Posted October 30, 2004 I have had good luck with this property. This will be my third PL stay this year, and two more planned. $55 + or - $5 seems to be the number but as always YMMVNo FFN problems in the prior two, but of course that will end on PL stays as of 3/05. Ordered room service, made one phone call, and got a coffee at the store across from the main desk to tripple ensure FFN. Go Blue!Maps
