pirokp Posted July 18, 2009 Report Posted July 18, 2009 Hi,I would like to Priceline a hotel near the Chicago Midway Airport for one night, 7/25. I am confused as to what area I should select on Priceline for Midway. A Sat. night near Midway (hopefully with free shuttle), any idea what I should bid? Thanks again for everyone's help!!
AaronJB Posted July 18, 2009 Report Posted July 18, 2009 You would bid for the Midway Airport zone. Additionally, I would only bid if you need to catch a flight; I wouldn't stay in this area from a tourist perspective to be near downtown. What would be your max budget for hotel for the night? Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links.
pirokp Posted July 18, 2009 Author Report Posted July 18, 2009 Thank you for your help!We are in Chicago 7/25 - 7/28. I split the priceline bid and won a hotel in the NMA area for the Sunday and Monday night. We fly in the Sat (7/25) and land at 6:30pm. I was thinking it might be easier to stay by the airport and head downtown the next day? What would your advice be for that night? Bid and try to stay downtown, in the suburbs, or by the airport? We won't have a car and I really don't want to spend more then about $80.Thank you so much!!
pirokp Posted July 19, 2009 Author Report Posted July 19, 2009 I did just Priceline the following, with no luck:4* NMA - $604 *NMA / Millennium Loop - $653.5* NMA/Millennium Loop - $65Will try again tomorrow, or stick to original plan hotel by Midway.
