On my first bid of $95, I was accepted into the Hyatt Century City right away!

I wasn't sure what to bid because I am only going for a single night. Is it possible that for staying one night only, I overbid?

I'm still happy with the win, I'm just wondering if I should bid lower next time I bid for a one night stay.

I don't belive you overbid. This is pretty much the going rate. But rates are date specific so you can't really compare them. But I belive you did well. Check the hotels rack rate for your stay.
