Looking for one night, one room, 2 people in downtown Vancouver, Sept 14-15. Any thoughts on the identity of the following Hotwire Hotels?

4* Downtown Vancouver Entertainment District - $104/night

Suite, Non-Smoking, Fitness Center, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center, Hi-Speed Internet, Kitchenette

4* Downtown Vancouver West - $105/night

Boutique Hotel, Non-Smoking Rooms, Fitness Center, Restaurant, Business Center, Hi-Speed Internet

3.5* Downtown Vancouver Entertainment District - $106/night

Restaurant, Hi-Speed Internet

3* Downtown Vancouver Entertainment District - $117/night

Fitness Center, Pool, Restaurant, Laundry, Hi-Speed Internet

Any help would be much appreciated - thanks in advance!

This is a match for the Westin Grand.

This is a match for the Listel.
3.5* Downtown Vancouver Entertainment District - $106/night

Restaurant, Hi-Speed Internet

This hotel has not been identified; my best guess is the Hotel Moda.
3* Downtown Vancouver Entertainment District - $117/night

Fitness Center, Pool, Restaurant, Laundry, Hi-Speed Internet

This is a match for the Holiday Inn Downtown.

Ending up going with priceline for this one. Bidding was tough - seems like prices are quite high for this date. All bidding was done over 2 days - combination of 4* and 3.5* bids.

Started bidding at $70 for a 4*Downtown: $70, 75, 80, 83, 85 (counteroffer of $22 with this rejection), 87 (another counteroffer of $22), 90, 93 - all bids rejected.

Stopped bidding on the 4* when I reached $93 - Instead, tried for a 3.5*Downtown at that point using the following bids: 62, 65, 70, 73, 77, 80, 83, 85, 87 (counteroffer of $22 with this rejection) - all bids rejected.

At this point, went back to bidding for a 4* (figured if I was going to pay $90+, might as well try for a 4*) - bid on 4*Downtown with $95 and finally won the Hyatt Regency Vancouver (4*Downtown) for $95 ($118.32 with taxes) - one night stay, Sept. 14.

Used your PRICELINE link each time of course!

Just wondering, anyone notice if bidding for a one night stay tends to be more expensive than a stay of multiple nights? (I'm guessing that there's no real pattern and it's all based on inventory in the end?)

Thanks again for this board's help!

Thank you for sharing your win with the board and using our PRICELINE link to begin your bidding :)

Yes, it's all about the inventory in the long run. But there's a few factors depending on the day you're bidding for also. For example, you might get a lower average price if you bid for Fri-Sun than just the Saturday night for some hotels etc. And you will find exceptions for diffrent zones.

Have a pleasant stay.
