Priceline Hotel: help me find the right hotel

hi I am taking two teenagers, 17 to California for a week to visit relatives and i would like to spend one night with them at the beach. Santa Monica preferred. I love the Santa Monica Beach Hotel but am not sure how to know which one it is on hotwire or how to proceed on priceline, although it is the only 4* listed for Santa Monica/Marina Del Rey in your list of hotels. So if I put in that zone and ask for 4 star will I automatically get it? Any advice I would greatly appreciate. We are going on July 29, coming home the night of Aug 5 so I am pretty much open to any night. thanks

I am open to any hotel in the LA area that is on the beach, either PRICELINE or HOTWIRE. I would like to stay under $200 any advice would be welcome

I am also looking at San Diego but would like a beachfront hotel... please help 4* under 200.00

I just tried priceline for all available nights when we will be there bidding at 180.00 and all were rejected does anyone have any suggestions for hotwire hotel on the beach. Thanks

First, please add a reply to your Hotwire Las Vegas thread with the date(s) of your stay and also clarifying if you stated at the Trump or the Wynn.

As far as your PRICELINE bidding, the hotel lists are only a compilation of hotels reported to the board, so there are no guarantees you'll receive the 4* listed, as there can be (and are likely) others... see the comments at the top of the Priceline Hotel List.

Also, note that PRICELINE only guarantees double occupancy, after that it's at the discretion of the hotel. You could receive a room with only one bed and the hotel may be unable, or unwilling, to change your room to one with two beds. If this isn't a risk you're willing to take you can use HOTWIRE which allows you to search for up to quad occupancy.

Can you please post another update to your Hotwire Las Vegas Hotel thread as you mention in your review that hte hotel doesn't have a casino, but the Wynn does have a casino, so i'm confused as to your comments (and if those comments were meant for that thread)

For the Newport Beach - Huntington Beach HOTWIRE property above, what date(s) are you searching for to have this property appear? How many adults/children are you including on your search?
