ollietu1 Posted October 27, 2004 Report Share Posted October 27, 2004 Just returned from my trip to the US and managed to get some good deals thanks to your tips on how to use Hotwire and Priceline.We priced a car hir for two weeks from JFK and the major companies all quoted between $1100 to $1200 plus insurance for a minivan for 14 days.Found a great deal on Hotwire just two days befor we needed the car...$735 plus insurance and when we booked we got Avis anyway....Also got a good deal on hotel in Quebec CIty...it was the Hilton and the price went as low as $102 a night.Very happy....
