kevin28282 Posted July 15, 2009 Report Posted July 15, 2009 Hi,I'm trying to book two rooms at the Venetian. My travel dates are 8/21/2009-8/23/2009. My budget is 700 dollars for two nights for two rooms with two queen beds in each room. Now I did the search for Hotwire and I got these results for a 5 star Hotel on the Central Strip.5-star hotel in Central StripThis hotel features the following amenities:CasinoFitness CenterPool(s)Restaurant(s)Business CenterGolf NearbyTennis NearbySpa ServicesCan I safely assume that this one is the Venetian? Or should I be wary? Thanks for your help!

kevin28282 Posted July 15, 2009 Author Report Posted July 15, 2009 Hi,I guess we are open to other options, but our main requirements are two queens and a sofa. -Kevin
yellowdog Posted July 15, 2009 Report Posted July 15, 2009 Good news!I altered your search to 2 rooms and 6 adults (from 2 rooms and 4 adults) and the 5* with Casino, Restaurant(s), Pool(s), Fitness Center, High-Speed Internet Access, Business Center, Golf Nearby, Tennis Nearby, Spa would be a match for Venetian. But this will total $900Please use the site's HOTWIRE link to start your purchase, and let us know how it goes.Yellowdog.
thereuare Posted July 15, 2009 Report Posted July 15, 2009 Would I be guaranteed two queens? No, two bedded rooms (excluding the sofabed) is not a standard room at the Venetian and costs extra. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. kevin28282 Posted July 15, 2009 Author Report Posted July 15, 2009 Do you know how it works to get the two queens and how much it would be? and thanks so much for your help! i really appreciate it.
AaronJB Posted July 15, 2009 Report Posted July 15, 2009 You can possibly request 2 beds from the hotel, but they are likely going to charge extra - or they could say no, depending on the day (if they are busy) and person you talk to. You would have to talk to the hotel about paying more for two beds and what their fee is - I'd imagine it could possibly vary depending on the date and how busy the hotel is.
thereuare Posted July 16, 2009 Report Posted July 16, 2009 The price difference between the two room classes is $30 so that's what i would expect to pay, if available. (and if asked for more i'd counter with $30 explaining that is the difference between the two rates at the company website) I'd also not tell them it's because you have more than double occupancy (if that is the case) and simply because you want separate beds. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.
