priceline366 Posted July 13, 2009 Report Posted July 13, 2009 Start around $65 a night in the: North Michigan Ave - River North Area for a 4 star hotelIf that doesn't work add the: Skokie - Niles - Evanston Area try at $70 still for a 4 star hotelIf that doesn't work add the: Lincoln Park Area and try at $75 still for a 4 star hotelIf that doesn't work lower the star rating to 3.5 but do not add anymore areas try for $65 (don't go below 3.5*)By adding the Skokie and then the Lincoln Park areas you can continue to bid the North Michigan Ave area at the higher star rating because they do not have properties at that level. You will only get a hotel in the North Michigan Ave area. You still have a few days so try as listed above. If you get shot down try again tomorrow but raise all the bids a little.Good Luck! nataliet Posted July 13, 2009 Author Report Posted July 13, 2009 I did everything you said for the 4 star with no luck - then I added 3 1/2 stars at $65 and I got the Wyndham Chicago Downtown - $82.36 with tax. I am VERY happy with that!!Thanks!!!
