crissvqno Posted July 12, 2009 Report Posted July 12, 2009 Hello to everybody! This is my first time in your web. I would like to go to NYC this next august and I want to use your PRICELINE link. The trouble is that I never have bid and I am afraid that will do bad.As I've read on your webpage people use to have an strategy but I'm not able to guess how it works. My budget is 100-110 $ per night from the 10th till the 13th August; I don't mind the zone too much (CPS, SB, MTW...) if I have the posibility to win a good hotel. What bidding strategy would you recommend me?Thank you in advanced for your kind cooperation.Best regards from Sevilla!
thereuare Posted July 14, 2009 Report Posted July 14, 2009 Welcome to BetterBidding! There is no harm in trying, but I'm guessing that your budget won't be enough for a 4* hotel for these dates. You're probably not too far off, maybe $120-$145, but $110 is likely to be a little too low.Have you ever been to NYC before? If not, id' recommend sticking with the midtown zones rather than stay downtown (unless you have a specific reason to be in this area). Please confirm which zones you're willing to bid (by PRICELINE name) and we'll suggest a strategy for you to follow (up to $110/nite, unless you let us know that you're willing to go higher). Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
