jreuben1
This is my first time bidding on Priceline overseas. I have used the multiple bidding strategy now for a couple rounds. Started at $100 and have gotten as high as $150 without even a counterbid from Priceline although I'm not sure I'd know what that would look like!Do you think that perhaps better pricing will clear up closer to my travel date or should I already be getting desperate? jreuben1
:) I did finally get a successful bid. Le Meredien Picadilly for all eight nights at $200 a night. Link to comment
jreuben1
Bid in ten dollar increments using by free zones until $180 without getting a counter offer from Priceline. Then bid $200 and was accepted. Internet rates were well over $300 per night for same room. Link to comment
thereuare
Congratulations on your win.Apparently rates at this hotel are less expensive on the weekends, which is why i suggested perhaps splitting the bid.Enjoy your stay and the rest of London.
