Hotwire Hotel: 2.5* Banff Inns of Banff

One of those times when HOTWIRE beat PRICELINE. I bid to $ 80 on Priceline for 2.5* for the same dates with no success. I was hoping for a different property when I purchased but based on clues available thought this would probably be the hotel. For the time of year it is $ 25 / night less than any other alternative.

Amenities listed as Pool, restaurant, biz center, laundry, internet, spa

As always used the HOTWIRE link from better bidding.

But Hotwire did not really beat Priceline here; the Inns of Banff is rated 2* by Priceline. Pretty much every case where Hotwire's price appears to be better than Priceline's is the result of Hotwire rating a particular hotel higher than Priceline does.

Interesting. I did not realize this. I'm guessing if I had dropped to 2* and bid on PRICELINE I may have done better. Thanks for the idea.
