Not sure if this is a 4.5* hotel but hopefully this helps someone else.

I just got back from my trip and had a great time.

I am reporting back that I am happy with the Crown Plaza Athens hotel.

It is very nice (although the decor of the lobby and halls are a little 80's with a bunch of neon) and found the location to be convenient with a few blocks to the Metro.

Neat little buttons rather than door hangs for "make up my room" , and "do not disturb". Also good mutimedia panel with HMDI and laptop ports an USB ports- useful for charging ie phone and iPod. And neat proximity reader for the door, I didn't have to take the card out of my wallet just held it up to the reader to get into my room.
