(Used the PRICELINE link on this site)

I want to take my 14 year old niece to LA for a weekend before the start of school (we have year round schedules here and she starts back on 7/27). Generally wanted to be in the Santa Monnica, Venice, Beverly Hills (ish) areas. I wasn't shooting for a particular hotel - just (hopefully) nicer at a good price. Have plans to hit multiple sites in this area so being central was the goal. Had done a lot of research and knew I would end up paying for parking at most 3* and above properties so I considered that a wash.

Bid History:

4* Santa Monica, $69 - rejected

4* Santa Monica and Beverly Hills, $74 - rejected

4* Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, Brentwood, $79 - rejected

3.5* Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, Brentwood, $79 - rejected

3.5* Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, Brentwood, Hollywood, $89 - rejected

Clicked the shop now button and browsed prices. Click - name my own price from "hotel list"

4* Santa Monica, $99 - rejected

4* Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, $99 - rejected

3.5* Santa Monica, Bevery Hills, $99 - accepted!

Works for us.
