phealy Posted July 10, 2009 Report Posted July 10, 2009 Using Hotwire, I am bidding on a 4-star rated hotel for $129 per night for two nights, July 20-21, leaving July 22. The amenities list is as follows: Boutique, Smoke Free, Fitness Center, Restaurant, Business Center, and High Speed internet access (fees may apply). Any idea which hotel this might be?Thanks

phealy Posted July 10, 2009 Author Report Posted July 10, 2009 Sorry, number 3 is a 4 star in North Michigan Avenue, both 1 and 2 are Magnificent Mile Area.

phealy Posted July 10, 2009 Author Report Posted July 10, 2009 Sorry, number 3 is a 4 star in North Michigan Avenue, both 1 and 2 are Magnificent Mile Area.Yes. Watertower--Gold Coast area.
AaronJB Posted July 10, 2009 Report Posted July 10, 2009 The 3.5* is possibly the Allerton or Westin Michigan Ave, as that combination could be a match for either.Thank you for using the site's Orbitz.com, HOTWIRE.com or PRICELINE links.
AaronJB Posted July 10, 2009 Report Posted July 10, 2009 I definitely wouldn't recommend the Sheraton, and I'd be hesistant about the 4* NMA due to the fact it could possibly be the Allerton.
phealy Posted July 10, 2009 Author Report Posted July 10, 2009 Thanks so much for the Orbitz tip. I booked it using your Orbitz link, took the 10% discount, and the $50 Restaurant.com coupon for a total of $351.62 for 2 nights for a suite at the Avenue Hotel Chicago, about $176/ night. Great deal. Thanks.
AaronJB Posted July 10, 2009 Report Posted July 10, 2009 Awesome! Glad you could take advantage of that great deal. Using the site's Orbitz.com link is greatly appreciated. If you're looking for a quick, good breakfast, there's a Corner Bakery nearby on 676 N Saint Clair St (1/2 a block East, 1 block South from the hotel.)Enjoy your stay.
