jbelle7435 Posted July 10, 2009 Report Posted July 10, 2009 I am traveling from Las Vegas to San Fran8/17 - 8/22.I been seeing prices around the 500 range. Car is only 200+ and the taxes and charges come out to 100% of the price :) Is there any other method of working a better deal on this. I guess Dollar or one of them have the 10% off deal. Anything else out there. For that price I can lease a decent car for 2 months!!!

I see a recent Las Vegas win of $14 a day. Also, take a look at what Hotwire and maybe Expedia can do for you (link to HOTWIRE top left side of this page, link to Expedia under the Support tab.Are you talking of one-way or round-trip rental? One-ways are almost always more expensive.For your dates - how many actual days? 5 or 6? Romelle

Win might be 1$ a day but taxes and fees will come out to 200+3. one way from Las Vegas to San Francisco airport4. Arriving 8/17 and leaving 8/22 so...6 days having the car unless I don't get it until the next day if Las vegas stuff is very accessable
Romelle Posted July 10, 2009 Report Posted July 10, 2009 Priceline didn't want to take a one-way bid from Las Vegas.I'd suggest you try the various rental places under the "Support/Travel Links" tab above. Start with Fox, which sometimes has better deals from Las Vegas. Also, you can try searches on "promo Enterprise (or other car rental company name)". You never know what might show up there.Romelle
