I'm trying to book two rooms in a 4 star hotel in the North Michigan Ave. area for mid-September. My bid for $89 was rejected by PRICELINE. From reading some other posts, I thought this was a reasonable bid. Any suggestions? Since we aren't leaving for a couple of months, I'm not necessarily in a hurry.

Thanks for your help!

Based on the rates I'm seeing, I don't think you're that far off at all - I wouldn't try bidding much higher at this point. What is your max budget per night?

I was trying to keep our hotel cost below $100 per room per night.

I'd rather not go up to $100 unless I have to. Since I have a couple of months before we travel, I don't mind continuing to try to get a better price. Any bidding suggestions would be appreciated.

I decided to expand my search to include the Millenium Park....area, and got a room at the Hyatt Regency Chicago for $75 per night. And I booked through the PRICELINE link on this website. Thanks for the help!
