Priceline Hotel: Help NYC 9/24-9/29 - Need 2 rooms

Hi, I need 2 rooms, preferably 3.5* or 4* in Times Square or Midtown East or West for these 5 nights. HOTWIRE shows 2 properties for around $200 and PRICELINE says similar hotels are about $300. What price should I start bidding at? I would like to pay no more than $150. Is this possible? Thanks

I'm not sure if your budget will currently be enough for a 3.5* or higher hotel, but did you want to try up to your limit first for a 4* and then, if rejected, try for a 3.5*... or is your goal the least expensive 3.5* or better hotel for this stay?

Also, are you purposefully avoiding the other midtown zones? (CPS, ESB, MSG?) If you don't want to stay in these areas then you shouldn't bid them, or you can consider adding them later on, but given i think you're budget is currently gonig to be a 'reach' for these dates, adding more zones would increase the number of hotels that could possibly accept your bid.
