jb4733 Posted October 24, 2004 Report Posted October 24, 2004 Booked from 11/02/04 - 11/12/04. Expedia has this hotel for $76/night. Thought I'd add this info to the board.I don't think this hotel would normally be considered a 3*. Has anyone ever challenged Priceline on their hotel ratings? What happened?
thereuare Posted October 25, 2004 Report Posted October 25, 2004 Welcome to BetterBidding!Thank you for posting and adding this win and hotel to the board. This property is actually different than the Ohana Waikiki Village which is available on Expedia for $75... this property is currently offered on Expedia for $80 (not a big difference, but wanted to make sure that you knew there was a difference).I think it will be tough to argue the star quality before you even arrive unless you have some first hand knowledge of the property. Expedia rates it a 2.5*, so if a 3* is incorrect, they're not really too far off the mark. Most complaints come 'after the fact' and occaisionally Priceline will give a voucher for $10 off of a future stay. You could try to argue, but i think it will be an uphill battle... but the REVIEWS of this property don't seem too bad.
