mn2010 Posted July 7, 2009 Report Posted July 7, 2009 I'd like to stay in the hotel listed at 3.5* in Chicago, which I believe from previous posts is the Embassy Suites Lakefront. One question...if I input 2 adults and 2 children, will I get a room with 2 regular beds, or do I risk getting a room with only a king bed (and the other presumably sleeping on the sofa bed)? Thanks!Mark
AaronJB Posted July 7, 2009 Report Posted July 7, 2009 Welcome to the site. What are the date/s of travel in question, and what are the amenities showing with the HOTWIRE listing you are seeing? You can make a request for a room w/2 beds, but there is the possibility of 1 + 1 sofabed. Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchase.
mn2010 Posted July 7, 2009 Author Report Posted July 7, 2009 Thanks for your thoughts. I notice that when I click on "2 Adults 2 Children" the option for this hotel is still available, but when I click "4 Adults" it is no longer available. Does this indicate anything regarding the type of room that I would get?The hotel in question is 3.5*, for dates 8/27-8/31, the following amenities:SuitesBreakfastFitnessPoolRestaurantBusiness CenterHigh-Speed Internet
AaronJB Posted July 7, 2009 Report Posted July 7, 2009 No, that does not indicate what type of room you may get; hotels may sometimes only appear when searching for a certain amount of travelers and not others (for example, a hotel may show up when 2 adults searched and not 4 adults or 2 kids/2 adults). This listing would be a likely match for the ES Lakefront.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE link to start your purchase.
mn2010 Posted July 7, 2009 Author Report Posted July 7, 2009 To clarify, it shows up for 2 adults and 2 children (4 total) but it doesn't show up for 4 adults. Does this make a difference? Thanks!
AaronJB Posted July 7, 2009 Report Posted July 7, 2009 No, this does not indicate anything regarding type of room. $109 (which is what I'm seeing this listing for) is certainly a fantastic deal for this property.
mn2010 Posted July 7, 2009 Author Report Posted July 7, 2009 Thanks for your help, the reservation was confirmed.
