cardsfan Posted July 6, 2009 Report Posted July 6, 2009 For Sept. 4, 1 nite.I want to bid on Bloomington, Il, city zone. I see the highest hotel is rated 2 1/2* on the page that lists their rates. When I go to the page to "name your own price" to bid, it has 3* hotels available to bid on.How do I find out which, if any, hotels are 3* in Bloomington?
AaronJB Posted July 6, 2009 Report Posted July 6, 2009 The retail price section and bidding sections are separate/different sections of the service and the ratings do not always correspond to one another - a hotel that may be 2.5* on the retail side may possibly be 3* on the bidding side. No 3*'s in the area have yet been reported to the board. Please use the site's PRICELINE link to start your purchase.
cardsfan Posted July 6, 2009 Author Report Posted July 6, 2009 Thanks-I have been using your link to PRICELINE.
thereuare Posted July 7, 2009 Report Posted July 7, 2009 The difference is more than likely one of two scenarios:1) the 3* hotel doesn't participate in the retail product from PRICELINE2) the zone boundaries of what define "Bloomington" are different on the "retail" and "bidding" sides of PRICELINE's serviceThanks for using our PRICELINE links :) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
