thereuare Posted July 6, 2009 Report Posted July 6, 2009 Welcome to BetterBidding! The amenities on the 4* property above match the Grand Hyatt, Palomar, and Westin Market Street, so any of these would be our best guess for this property. The USW property matches previous reports for the Parc 55 so that would be our best guess for that one. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Let us know which you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
hotwirehunter Posted July 6, 2009 Author Report Posted July 6, 2009 Thanks for the info! I was wondering if the prices are better when you book last minute (say a few days) than a month in advance? What's the best strategy for shopping on HOTWIRE?
AaronJB Posted July 6, 2009 Report Posted July 6, 2009 There's no distinct strategy for timing. There's the chance you could get a better rate (although I strongly doubt it'll be much better than those prices), but there's also the chance that the prices could suddenly jump up - I've helped many, many people who decided to wait and then came back disappointed that they'd waited and prices had ramped up.It all depends on the hotel, city and dates, but again, 4*'s for $99 and $84 in San Fran are realistically not going to go much lower than that - if at all. Please use the site's HOTWIRE link to start your purchase.
hotwirehunter Posted July 6, 2009 Author Report Posted July 6, 2009 Thanks guys, I will book thru this site and report back what I get. Thanks again!
Gallus50 Posted July 7, 2009 Report Posted July 7, 2009 There's also the chance that the hotel you're interested will disappear from HOTWIRE altogether. Sometimes they pop up, stick around for a week or two, and then disappear. So if you like the price and the place, it's probably just as well to book it.
