UMDfencer
I started the bid at 35, and I rebid a few times and I finally got it for 40.Then I used the info here to go to hotwire and book 3 rooms in the same hotel for 56 dollars a night, and used the coupon to take 30 dollars off! dahammer
You will be close to the Philadelphia Musuem of Art, the adult admission is $10, but on Sundays, the admission policy is pay what you wish all day. It used to be free before 1:00 PM, but budget cuts forced a change in the policy. You can run up the steps just like Stallone did in the film, Rocky !!! For the best Philly cheesesteak in town, check out John's Roast Pork, Snyder Avenue and Weccacoe Street, Philadelphia, 215-463-1951. Around the corner is Tony Luke's Old Philly Style Sandwiches, 39 E. Oregon Ave., Philadelphia, 215-551-5725. At Tony Lukes, order the roast pork sandwich with bitter greens (broccoli rabe sauteed in garlic) and aged provalone all on a hard Italian roll. Both are in South Philly near the stadiums. UMDfencer
The Wyndham was great to us, we got all two bed rooms, they handled our dinner reservations, and comped 4 car-nights worth of parking out of 10 car-nights. They did not check IDs, and let the group leader check in to rooms listed under other traveler's names. Link to comment
