You have to use their underground parking lot, and the parking rates are so complicated that no one at the front desk can explain it - and then they try to sell you a $15 per day in-and-out pass. The room is your standard modern business class room, and the hotel's amenities are what you would expect for a conference center. But you won't be taking leisurely strolls outside - the closest "restaurant" is a McDonalds, everything else is a very depressed area. In summary, this hotel is fine if you do nothing but eat, sleep, and work within it.

However, the hotel itself seems to be in a nicely kept part of the university, and I would have loved to have a little more time to stroll around the campus. The parking is now $9.00 for the day, but the booth where you pay seems to be manned very infrequently and the gate automatically opened for us (leaving at 7:00am). We never actually had to pay. They have some nice restaurants that deliver there, and the hotel bar was great. The staff were excellent and the rooms felt quite spacious and the beds very comfortable. The fitness room is well stocked with even a Wii fit to play with. I'd happily stay there again (overnight or for two) but agree with SinatraFan that an extended stay would become tiresome quickly as only the Zoo is nearby and everything else would begin to get pricy as you left and entered the parking garage. All in all a nice relaxing stay for me and my family (two kids under 2) on our way down to DisneyWorld.Cheers,IceWeasel
