Verdigo Posted July 3, 2009 Report Posted July 3, 2009 With the American Library Association conference in town during my stay, prices were a little higher than during other times after reviewing the calendar of wins. I initially was shooting for the NMA-River North area because I've stayed in the Loop many times before. Over the previous couple of weeks I've bid two times and they went as shown:First: $80-$90 4* (NMA-River North)....DeniedSecond: $90-$100 4* (NMA-River North, added Linclon Park)...DeniedThird: $100-$110 4* (NMA-River North, Linclon Park, added Midway)...DeniedThis morning, I started with the Loop at $100. Priceline countered with $122; I rejected and re-bid adding NMA-River North at $115 and this was accepted by Hotel Burnham. It seems to have a majority of good reviews at Trip Advisor. Looking forward to another great experience in Chicago.

AaronJB Posted July 3, 2009 Report Posted July 3, 2009 Excellent win. This is a gorgeous, beautifully renovated historic property - the building is considered one of the first "skyscrapers".
