Priceline Hotel: bidding for a car

I have tried (at low rates, but I know some people won at Tpa at $12/day) almost everyday and my price (now I am at $23) is refused.

Do you think the closer we get to my dates (July 9-14), the better I have chance? Or are they all fully booked now? Anyone with experience?
