DB4105
My boyfriend and I are getting in Vegas. We will be staying there from 8/13-8/17.We want to find a hotel through priceline's name your own price. We were thinking about about caesar's palace, the wynn, and other 4 & 5 star hotels. We want to get the best rate possible, so I'm hopping some one can give me some suggestions on what prices we should bid. yellowdog
Welcome to BetterBidding :) You need to be willing to accept ANY hotel within the zone you're bidding at using PRICELINE. This link for boards current Las Vegas reported hotels. You also have 2 hotels that some bidders want to avoid. It's the Trump in North zone (no casino property) and the Westin (slight off strip location - but a fast walk to the Strip/Bally's corner) in the South zone. If you're trying to target a specific property then HOTWIRE can often be a better option if you're successfully able to identify it based upon the star rating and amenities shown before your purchase... the trade-off is that HOTWIRE usually costs a little more than PRICELINE, so you need to decide what is most important to you for a given stay, the lowest possible price OR the ability to take an educated guess as to the property you may receive. But if you're ok with any hotel in your preferd zone so please post your max/night budgett and the zone(s) you're willing to stay in for help.Hope this information get's you started.Yellowdog.Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.
