evstac Posted July 1, 2009 Report Posted July 1, 2009 There are four 4* hotels in this area. Only the Westin does NOT have a fitness center. Is it safe to assume that the Westin is showing up if the only things listed are: pool, restaurant, business center, high-speed internet? I am looking at July 25 for one night, 2 adults and 2 children. The price varies. First is was $56, then a few minutes later is showed up for a little more, maybe $59. Both times it came up first with the same four ammenities.
thereuare Posted July 1, 2009 Report Posted July 1, 2009 Welcome to BetterBidding!I would not make the ID of a hotel based upon the lack of an icon... hotels have to show all the amenities listed, but don't necessarily need to show all the ameniteis they have. The idea is to put as many pieces of the puzzle together in order to make out the picutre that is forming. In additiion to the info you indicated above, the amenities above match previous reports for the Westin, and the Tripadvisor information provided by HOTWIRE is consistent with the Westin, so the odds favor that this is likely the Westin, and that would be our best guess. evstac Posted July 1, 2009 Author Report Posted July 1, 2009 Thank you for the information. I will use the above HOTWIRE link and let you know what I get when I finalize the date and number of nights. When I looked earlier in the day, no tripadvisor information came up, but this time it did come up with 3.5 out 5 based on 60+reviews. Is this consistent with the Westin?
thereuare Posted July 2, 2009 Report Posted July 2, 2009 ...and the Tripadvisor information provided by HOTWIRE is consistent with the Westin...As per my comments above, the Tripadvisor info is consistent with the Westin. Please only ask for help identifying HOTWIRE properties once your plans are firm... IDing properties can take a considerable amount of time, and this may not be the property offered once your plans are firm and you're able to commit to a non-refundable purchase. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.
