Priceline Hotel: 3* Los Angeles (Airport LAX) Courtyard LAX Century Boulevard

Thanks to pricing information in this: Priceline Los Angeles Airport thread and others here, and using the PRICELINE link provided by this site, I scored a win for Courtyard by Marriott LAX Century Boulevard at $43/night for 2 nights, 7/02/2009 - 7/04/2009.

Mrs. and I stayed at the same property when we flew into LAX on 6/20. She booked the room directly with Marriott at that time (we had some Marriott coupons that we had intended to use, but unfortunately forgot to bring them on the trip). Room rate at that time was something closer to $100/night, so this is a much better deal.

I was expecting that we might wind up at Radisson LAX which we've stayed at long ago. It's an ok property, and for the money would be a good deal at the same price. Not a great property, but definitely a nice deal at anything under $50 a night. Unless things have changed, Radisson has a pool while the Courtyard doesn't have their own pool on site and instead suggests that guests use the pool at one of their sister properties in the adjoining areas.

Both are fairly conveniently located near LAX and with an early flight out of LAX on Saturday (7/04/2009), we'll need to be close. Only real concern is being able to catch the airport shuttle from the hotel and then clearing through security in plenty of time to make the early flight.

In any case, /salute again to this site for the information and tools (and useful links to PRICELINE and such). Nice price for a hotel very convenient to where we need to be and nice no fuss bidding on a name your own deal thanks to the pricing information from other wins that people have posted here to share!
